What are the times of the Mount Airy worship services?
We have two Sunday morning service and a Wednesday morning service.

Where do I park when I visit Mount Airy?
We have on street parking that is right in front of the main L Street or North Capitol Street entrances as well additional parking located on the parking lot in front of the Church. Parking is also available in the Sibley Plaza parking lot during Sunday worship service times.   read more...
 
Do I have to pay the parking meters during my visit to Mount Airy?
Yes, except on Sunday or after 10 pm on weekdays and Saturday.
  
What is the purpose of rostrum flowers?
Our church rostrum flowers represent a symbolic acknowledgment of a deceased church member. This acknowledgement is usually initiated by a family member, such as a spouse or child.  A nominal fee is charged for the floral arrangement displayed in the pulpit of the church sanctuary. The family member may take the flowers with them at the conclusion of the worship service.
  
What do I need to do to join Mount Airy Baptist Church?
A person who wants to join the church will walk down to the front of the Church during the invitation to discipleship and tell the Deacons, Deaconesses, and Pastor West that he or she wishes to join the church.  General information is obtained from the person (i.e., person's name, current church membership and other information).  They may also be asked if they are joining Mount Airy based on Christian experience or as a candidate for baptism. read more...

How do I participate in the Share Food program?
Anyone can participate in the Share Food Program.  Simply contact the Church Office and ask to speak to the Share Food ministry leader.  
  
Do we have a resource for the production of a flyer, brochure or program for my ministry?

How do I place an announcement in the church bulletin?
To create a flyer with your announcement, follow the instructions in the next paragraph. To expedite the process, create your announcement as a Microsoft Word document and submit via email to churchsec@mountairybaptist.org. All hand written announcements must be submitted in person to the Church Office. All announcements must have prior approval by the ministry leader before submission to the Church Office.  read more...

How do I order more tithe and offering envelopes?
Visitor (blank) tithe and offering envelopes can be found at the back of the church pews in the sanctuary or the chapel.  Member donation envelopes can be ordered by contacting the Church Office at 202.789.0640.  Members can pick up their customized donation envelopes during regular church office hours or following Sunday worship service.  read more...
  
How do we find information about church closings?
All church closings will be published on the Mount Airy website at www.mountairybaptist.org. Weather-related closings will also be posted on the Washington DC channels WUSA TV-9, WJLA TV-7, and NewsChannel 8 television stations. Mount Airy also observes all federal government holidays.
