New Member Orientation
Along with the Biblical requirements of a profession of saving
faith in Christ alone and believer’s baptism by immersion after salvation, Mount
Airy requires all prospective members over the age of 18 to go through our
seven-week membership class taught by various instructors. The class
requirements include listening to all seven sessions, reading our purpose
and beliefs, signing a membership card, and completing a ministry profile
form. Upon completion of the class, the New Members ministry leader will
schedule a time to unite with our local fellowship. Every third Sunday in room 2, the New Members Ministry takes
pictures of any recent new members for posting on our new members bulletin board.
This posting will enable the congregation to become more familiar with all new
members.
